How to find Square Root of a number

In this article we are going to learn how to find out the square root of a number. In the Simplifications we will get square root of 3 digit 4 digit etc . to calculate the square root of a number easily we have to learn below basics.

Example:

 

• Take the last digit of above number i.e 4
• Now look at above table . last digit 4 exist in 2 places . that are 2 and 8 as shown below.

                     

                     

•   Now take the answer last digit as 2 or 8.

                                        ____ 2/8

•    Now cut the last two digits as shown below.

                               

•  Search the 7 number in squares column. 7 is between 4 and 7. take the first number. means 2.

                           

 

 

 

 

•     Now we can say answer is 22/28
•   Now multiply first digit 2 with the next number of that . means 3

           2*3 = 6

• Compare 6 with the first number of the question . I. e 7
• if the 6 > first number of the question then answer is 2
• if the 6 <first number of the question then answer is 8

  here 6 < 7 so we have to take 8


Answer is 28
